Okay, so I added the Blog It application on Facebook and connected it to my Blogger account. I'm wondering if I'll be pleased with the data portability. However, if I add Twitter to Blog It (but Twitter is already set up to update my Facebook status), could I end up with some funky looping?

Publication DOA-1864P(R09/05) contains the following information:

“Wisconsin’s State Capitol lies on an isthums bordered by Lake Monona to the east and Lake Mendota to the west. This majestic granite structure is Wisconsin’s third Capitol building…

The interior of the Capitol features forty-three varieties of stone from around the world, decorative murals, glass mosaics and hand-carved furniture.”

Last week, I visited the information booth at the Capitol to pick up the publication. I had the blue sky with clouds photo of the dome in my files from July 13, 2005. I combined a photo of the publication, that I took this morning, and the dome picture to create my newest entry.

Famous Movies in Famous Places

This August, the Netflix Rolling Roadshow celebrates classic American movies by screening them in the locations they helped make famous. Last night, at Left and Center Field of Dreams—Lansing Road Dyersville, Iowa—I listened to Kevin Costner and his band play as a prelude to watching the Field of Dreams movie on an outdoor inflatable screen. When Ray Kinsella replied to the question, “Is this heaven?,” with the answer of, “No, this is Iowa,” the crowd cheered both times. See a line of car headlights from the event increased the surreal atmosphere of the night.

This football jersey hangs in the Packers Hall of Fame. It was worn by Buckets Goldenberg, who joined the Packers in 1933. He played guard, linebacker, fullback and defensive back.

Stadium Steps

Lambeau Field is the home stadium of the Green Bay Packers professional football team of the NFL. In 2003, a massive reconstruction project was completed to update the facilities and add more premium and suite seating, but keep the storied natural grass playing field. This week, my son and I took a day trip to Green Bay, which included a stadium tour of the renovation.
