Lots of Questions

/

Can a person change who s/he is? Why is asking for or accepting help so hard? Is life as simple as black and white; or are the shades of grey just as important? Is having an astounding lack of curiosity a good thing? Is there a connection between the dharma wheel and the hatch logos? Do all the survivors have a miracle or stroke of good luck in their past? Is there a connection between the theory of Pa Qua and the mystery of the island? Is the “weaving a complex web of interrelationships throughout the entire work,” as found in Ovid’s Metamorphose, a purposeful and direct inspiration for the writers of LOST? Is life on the island merely an experiential lesson in the second Noble truth?

Why I want to meet Jason Karolczak-Konen

While doing a Sunday night cheer run, I found Jason’s 43 Things page via looking through the city of Madison people list. I followed the link to karolczak.com... and found well written entries and a clean/comfy web design. I’m completely jealous that he has attended An Event Apart.

/

Waiting for an appointment with my lawyer, I grabbed a quick snap from her law library. Conveniently, the Wisconsin Reporter happens to have the volumes divided at 40-43.

Government East Parking Ramp, Space #43

/

The Government East Parking Ramp is a block away from G.E.F 2, the building where I work. Today I parked on the lower level, in the East row, and realized I was about 10 spaces away from number 43.

MHBYF 2002 - 7th Grader Taylor Olson #43

/

The Mount Horeb / Barneveld youth football team between the years of 1999 (4th graders) to 2003 (8th graders) went five years undefeated. In 2002, my son’s best friend Taylor wore jersey #43. Throughout each season, I took pictures at the games; so, I dug into my archive to collect a group of photos highlighting Taylor.

Princeton Club West Woman's Locker #43

Finding objects that have the number forty-three on them in a natural state… ie: as a stand alone two digit number… is incredibly difficult.
